The Greater Works Conference is an annual conference of the International Central Gospel Church held to climax “40 Days of Power” – a time of fasting and praying.
The name “Greater Works” was birthed from the scripture in John 14:12 which says “Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father.”
The focus of the Greater Works conference is therefore to empower God’s people to go out and do greater works by the enablement of the spirit of God.
Since its inception in 1987 at the Baiden Powell Hall, the conference has not only grown tremendously in number but has greatly impacted the lives of thousands of people worldwide. The conference features a mix of word ministrations, prayer and song ministrations.
This year’s Greater Works Conference will receive the ministry of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of Kingsway International Christian Center (KICC), London; Bishop Tudor Bismark of Jabula New life Covenant Church, Harare-Zimbabwest Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Lagos-Nigeria; and joining us this year, Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock, Lagos-Nigeria, with our Conference Host and General Overseer of ICGC, Pastor Mensa Otabil.
Each speaker brings words of encouragement, direction and empowerment to God’s people.
Music ministration will be by Edwin Dadson, Joe Mettle, Nathaniel Bassey and Dunsin Oyekan, Lumina as well as other ICGC Genre Choirs.
Greater Works opens with a communion service on the first night and climaxes with an anointing service on the final. There will also be an extended praise jam on the Friday night to after the service.
The Greater Works Conference covers a five-day period and will start on Monday, 4th August and continues through the week to Friday, 8th August 2025. Both morning and evening sessions at Christ Temple East.
